Moth Book, Torn Between The Lines, by Vienna Lang

Project Description.

For this assignment, I took an old, falling-apart novel and tore out the pages. I glued individual pages to the inside of the book covers to extend the surface area. After I was satisfied with the size, I cut out the shape of a moth.

I rolled multiple pages from the book to make the body of the moth. I rolled single pages around each other until I had strong, thin pieces to use as legs and antenna which I glued to the body of the moth.

I used the torn pages and leftover pieces to create a flower that would support the moth in an upright position.
