The title I chose is, Hauntology: A Burn Book. 

Each of the individual books has its own addition to the title. For example, the image I included is for my Colophon book and has the title Hauntology: A Burn Book of Ashes. 

I added a description in the front of each book that explains Hauntology and a paragraph explaining the individualized titles for each book. 

I've had a lot of fun working with the ghostly identity theme and I am very happy with the work I have done. This descriptive page that I chose to include in my books is an important addition to my books and has a poetic way of explaining my title and the individualization of each book, and how they go together. 

This week I manipulated my chosen photo with digital technology and hand-drawn text. I wanted to use a red sharpie marker for most of my text to allude to the original Burn Book. I've been enjoying the ghost photo and addition of red marker around the image, especially when combined with the black and white images. I used a digital tool on my computer to alter my image for my photo only book. I distorted the image using a swirling effect. 

I am using some stickers on the front cover of the books for the title because I like the hand-made aesthetic of the original burn book. I love scrapbooking so I have an abundance of material to work with. I don't plan on doing too heavy into the scrapbook vibe - just enough to be crafty.
