Colour Book
Colour Book Final Project Vienna Lang This project is a representation of colour using lipstick. I took apart a tissue box and used the pieces to stamp individual lipstick colours on tissues. I used a wooden tissue box as my book cover and stained it red because I love the boldness of red lipstick. The final tissue in the box is the "colophon, " which has swatches of all the colours I used for the lipstick stamps. This was a happy accident. I used a single tissue to wipe off the excess colour from my lips before I prepared for the next lipstick colour. Once I was finished, I noticed that this tissue looked like it was an index or map, so I felt that I should include it and call it a colophone. I really love how this project turned out. I especially love the inclusion of the glitter to make the project feel more like me. My favourite comment on this project came from my dad.
